  • In 1995, received the prestigious title of “Unofficial Champion of the World” at the Padudny Championships in Perm, Russia
  • Attended Portland State University: was a four-time NCAA ll Champion, four-time NCAA ll All American, and the first NCAA ll wrestler to be named the “Most Outstanding Wrestler” at the National Championships for three consecutive years
  • Attended Gresham High School (Gresham, Oregon); won four state championships and was undefeated all four years
  • Married to Joy; have one son (Ryan) and three daughters (Sarah, Danielle, and Hannah)
